The Robby Rabbitry – A MoCa Farm AgriTour

Be simple as you can; you will be astonished to see how uncomplicated and happy your life can become. – Paramahansa Yogananda

When family decided to transfer resident in a nearby province, I am facing myself to live simple and be ready to face what it offers.

Still, half of myself loved metro as I went there twice a week for a client meeting. I found time and time again comparing those modernized living. Sometimes, I have to ask how in a world that this semi-urban location that I am living right now cannot really cope up with the fast-paced life. Yes, I am in the process of still staring and many questions in mind.

All those questions were answered when our travel buddies, The Road Trippers (TRT) decided to get a different adventure – a tour at Padre Garcia Batangas visiting the MoCa Farm where we personally meet Ms. Gigi Morris and oriented about their main flagship activity, The Robby Rabbitry.

Ms. Gigi Morris who was formerly teaching fashion in Las Vegas decided to become a rabbit farmer.

Until now, I am amazed with her decision to live a simple life.   That is – embrace agriculture and love the nature even her initial inspiration came from her husband.

Check what I mean as I shared this video to you:

The Robby Rabbitry Farm is still new.  After buying a few rabbits and constructing a cage,  she started to get different breeds in her farm.  Most of them become acquainted to the environment and since they grow in numbers, selling rabbit meat becomes a business.

Some of the rabbit breeds grow as their pets like the Harlequins and different breeds of Lops.

As of now, Robby Rabbitry Farm is still on the works on selling rabbits as a pets.  The dressed rabbits are now sold between P 350.00 to P 500.00 depending on the weight.  The price is less cheaper compare to a beef meat yet more healthy and nutritious in terms of  fat content.

For that whole day activity – it was a fun and adventure to do a one of a kind agriculture tour aka Agri Tour.

For me, it led me some life lessons in living a simple life.

Confucius is right.  Life is really simple.  We insist in making sometimes to be complicated.

Find that makes us also happy.   At the end, this really matters most.

To be oriented again and experience what a good environment in the midst of the nature is the priceless escapade we can treasure on this tour.
