Worry is interest paid on trouble before it comes due. – William Ralph Inge
As my January days piled up, I am bit started to worry some financial aspects. At first, I cannot concentrate on the things that I will be doing today but my thinking was like a moving maze – confused and cannot actually identify my exact path.
What I did was to open first the internet and see what I can read to perk up yet brighten my day.
This what I found from Dalai Lama which I like to share with you:
“When asked “What thing about humanity surprises you the most?”, the Dalai Lama answered: “Man…. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”
Yes, we all worry. Still, we are always luckier compare to others.
Again, live and enjoy what is present. Eventually, what you sow today will definitely reap for tomorrow’s future.
Acknowledge it – its impact and then plan.
My husband told me that one of the car tires was worn out and need to buy a new one. Then one has to be aware the possibility of going flat and allot a fund for it by saving day by day.
Start planning and from there, even little things can be accomplish.
Result? Sense of accomplishment and build each other’s confidence.
As i said, sometimes there are life uncertainties, but at least, worries are lessened up if you plan ahead.
