Shutting off for a few hours for much needed “me” time is a place to recharge and reflect.
After our trip to Mindoro, got the time to go back to pending work and some of it can be finish at night. Still, there is a push within me that I really need.
That day, as in out of the blue, got a quick visit at Blue Water Day Spa, Ortigas Branch not only to pamper but to shun an internal getaway to re-energize my inner self.
As usual, the friendly greeting infront never change as the warm smile of the staff made me always welcome. Whenever me and hubby are in the metro, we always take advantage the foot spa and massage services.
Now, this is my first time to avail the Body Scrub in Green Tea.
For me, it’s a 2-in-1 treatment where a massage is done as the exfoliation all over is getting cleanse by scrubbing it at the same time.
Since part of my everyday is travelling, green tea is said to be an agent to protect the skin against free radical damage. From there, this would help to slow down the premature aging process.
Step-by-step one (1) hour procedure:
- Their massage therapist’s hands got always this caring touch and curative powers to pamper as she spread evenly the green tea scrub all over the body.
- After that, a wrap also after putting the scrub to rejuvenate the skin and rest even its only 30 minutes.
- A mild hot water shower to wash it out is next. From there, one can feel the stimulation and softness of the skin.
- Last part is putting a lotion all over.
Yes, I’m not the right person to diagnose how beneficial a spa or massage is, but the feeling of “me” time escape have some benefits to me.
These are:
- Slowing down a little bit allows oneself to think.
- “Feel Good” factor even you know there are deadlines to beat.

- Moisture the whole body.
