Live Life to the Fullest – Epilogue of Meaningful Life Adventure

I love technology innovation.  Name it – internet banking, e-commerce, web based applications particularly portal, e-learning and social networking.

Recently I found out Lenddo that offers financial assistance to employed individuals that uses their online social network connection to assess the credibility to loan.   There are no traditional loan requirements like submitting car/land title for collateral.

• Once done, enter the distorted characters displayed.

• For each move you made like registration, your score increases.  Did you see the left topmost of your screen?  That is your score.

• Yes, I like to increase my score.  What I did was to link my account to Facebook, Yahoo, GMail and Linkedln.  I have also put my profile picture which  increase more my score.

• Once you got a minimum 400 score requirement, you can already enter your financial information and already build the trusted community.

I am a person that as much as possible do not like to go out that would add up to expenses like travel, parking, food but mostly, waste of time.  If I can do everything virtually and online at home, I would gladly do so.  That is maybe the reason behind I highly recommend Lenddo.

I have already mentioned some improvements with the registration form which made me input again all the fields after I was not qualified with the password.  I got also an email with them but more on a Welcome Note. One has a some sort of a link for confirmation to verify the authenticity of  the email address.

Personally, if you will ask me “I love my profession”.  Above website designs are just one of my masterpiece because it creates the persona in me -  my creativity.  For more than a decade, my quest to learning is always a front runner to keep me passionate on what I am doing.

I began to see the need of clients not because of the perks of payment but to  be responsible also by contributing to them what I know.  What I will be sharing with you is my consultancy advices to my clients and students if they like to be on the trend with technology.

As an I.T. consultant by profession, we are always deemed to be on the hip, on the trend, be updated and more so aggressive to new technology.  If not, then growing with this profession will never be your cup of tea.

I have gone to corporate life last 2005 and by then I planned my life to do freelance work to prioritize my own time for family and most especially for myself where I can do more what I love to do – teaching and doing I.T. consultancy work.

Looking back after six (6) years, I am already taking actions having a set of clientele and also school to work on. But what is next?  I know I am contented with good results but still I felt I was a bit stagnant.  I have to change some sort of strategy to make more my income more passive.

I am an avid buyer of online shopping.  Maybe because I find it more accessible for me to do everything online – from books, gadgets, clothes and  some other stuff I can found like Multiply Marketplace.

But what if I can sell my services more online in a new set of market?  I know I have already a website, www.virtualbizph.com.

If I can promote more my services in the large range of marketplace where I can increase my potentials as an entrepreneur, then I can venture to another strategy.

As an online junkie, I have already heard Multiply as a social network site sharing people’s pictures, experiences and shout out their thoughts. But some of the Filipinos harness the Multiply site as the venue to sell any stuff.  I have heard stories that these entrepreneurs also become successful selling online thru Multiply Marketplace.

Reading becomes one of my favorite hobbies eversince.  When we got married, I even tag along all the books with me.  I vividly remembered that I would rather leave some of my clothes in exchange of my books.  LOL!  Expect that one can see a small library full of books in our home and even scattered books around the different areas of our room.

I also influenced hubby and kids to love reading and our first stop whenever we were at the mall was the bookstore where we spent almost two hours goofing around and browsing latest books/magazines and the most if budget permitted, got the urge to purchase one.

This is maybe the reason hopping and reading different posts in a blog becomes also a habit – a passion.  For me, blogs are my best guides  - work-related,  inspirations,  food, resto, places, events, sale but most especially posts that gave me a push to read juicy contents with tons of information to learn yet simple and easy to understand.

This blog post titled ”Top 10 picks Emerging Influential Blogs for 2011″  was parked for more than a month already in my drafts that gave me the time to gather more my thoughts to finish this and ready for publish.

Maybe this is the time to share not only to support blogs that I have bookmarked/read for more than a year but to give enlightenment to those blogs who gave time to have a worthy content.   One way or the other, it can be some sort of awareness when someone endorses it as how it influences you.

I also know some of the persons behind these blogs and I can say they were passionate on what they were doing. Hopefully, I suppose! LOL!

These are my top 10 picks:

#1.  Our Fullest Life

There were times that we love to read simple quote and then from there, we were struck.  Straightforward, I may say. This is the objective of Our Fullest Life a.k.a. OFL.  People sometimes do not have the time to read long reflections but once they got the meaning, it’s done deal.

There were previous guest posts that I also share with this blog which gave me the birth to another blog, Live Life Fullest.  I am technical, geek person you can encounter here in this I.T. world, teaching and implementing business projects.  OFL is the stepping stone that gave me a discovery the soft side of me which made this blog personally influences me.

#2. Jen Juan

When I shared Jen the blog about OFL - Our Fullest Life, she like also  the concept which made her decide to create her own blog also -  www.jenjuan.com. At first, she loved to share her collections of thoughs about life but lately she posted a lot which made me visit her blog often.   Again, like OFL, I love those thoughts sharing the greatness of life that can be beneficial to others.

#3.   Live Life Fullest

Am I bragging myself here to include my blog as one of the influential?  LOL! Anyway, personally, yes!  The blog, Live Life Fullest is the other side of me.

Again, people who knew me especially in the I.T. community tagged me as a hard core type of person like doing lot of technical stuff.  They expected that if ever I will do a blog, I can share my technical know-how.

The blog, Live Life Fullest was a surprise to those who knew me and quite amazed that I have this reflections I can share myself  in the posts that I published  which was different when they were talking to me personally.  Definitely, they discovered the real me.

It was a quite a denial stage at the start to open myself a personal blog to everyone  because for me this is an  invasion of my privacy.  But no, I have to do it and start even I am not a life motivator for me to be qualified.  It was so influential that I decided to launched the blog last Januay 2011 where I can compile all my thoughts and share timeless learnings that I can read over and over again as a reminder in living my life to the fullest. Truly, it is an enlightenment reflection part of my life.

At the moment, I am bit struggling to have time to post every now and then because of work related activity that I am engaged.  Again, I have to push myself to write no matter what but at the end, have fun with it so that learning will be smoothly flowing.  This is my breather to the world and a discovery to myself which gave me a realization, I can do more to my usual daily routine.

#4. Everyday Sweet Notes

When I was following this blog, I was amazed to noticed that Smarla, the writer behind the blog really wrote everyday.  What kept me coming back was the sense of content where you feel what she wrote those posts were straight from the heart.  I also met her personally.  Very sweet lady, just like her blog….

#5.  Blogger Manila

Helping out unceasingly is quite a huge tasks and what more, doing it for free.   This blog, Blogger Manila is here to assist bloggers wannabe to shine and push to their passion especially if their mentor is on their side like Mr. Jonel Uy.

#6.  Certified Foodies

This foodie yet a family blog shared by siblings Mhel and Ken let me missed my youngest brother who were working abroad.  Why?  Because way back then, me and my brother  were partners in crime in the kitchen, cooking and eating a lot.

During events when I personally saw them together, I was caught staring, watching and  ease out more or less the feeling of missing my brother.   Gladness, fun and team work complimented Mhel and Ken tandem sharing this blog. Content wise, Cetified Foodies talked also with sense.

#7.  Sleek in the City

I got to bumped Sleek in the City in Pinoy Bloggers that curiosity aroused me to read most of his posts.  Informative yet lot of zest contents.

I do not know Mark personally but when we saw each other in the mall accidentally, he personally greeted me. First impression – he is warm and very friendly.

#8. Veggie Circle

It is not only focus on being a vegan but mostly living a healthy life. Carl, the person behind the blog engaged into yoga and running which I also love to do where I can get some tips and tricks.

#9.  Rizal Park

Sharing heritage and culture are the niche of this blog which is not very common nowadays.  This blog is also an eye-opener to the many great contribution of our national hero, Jose Rizal to our country and a dedication in lieu of Rizal’s 150th birth anniversary celebration this 2011.

#10. Life is a Celebration

I love how this personal blog chronicles her journey from travels, food, musing and ramblings that celebrate life itself.

Family are very eager to come with me not only my husband but also my teenage kids especially Regina who are also into blogging.  I also encouraged Rafael to be with us in this event to appreciate another facets of information technology which is blogging.

Also with us is my youngest daughter Roxanne who is excited to see me first to speak infront of the audience.

• Roy dela Cruz simple yet sensible talk Writer’s block share gave me an impact why I have this procrastination attitude whenever I wrote.  I thought I am really that lazy to do it.  I just come to realized there come a time for a blogger to feel this way and he gave his suggestions how to counteract with this issue.  I got this link to his blog for me to be reminded.  With him also is his family who support him.
• Thirsty Blogger’s‘ guide to blog traffic without SEO by Fitz Villafuerte is another a worth listening topic.  Still, the traditional marketing is still alive no matter what like network and giving calling cards.  I got to see him also  during Phil. Web Blog Award where he bagged Best Business Blog “Ready to be Rich” .  Got also this link for the full coverage of his talk.

Got also to mingle other bloggers and talk to them personally like Jonel

and Smarla of Everyday Sweet Notes as I enjoyed see and talking to them in flesh.

Overall, I love the crowd as my family also enjoyed staying the whole day, if not, they will tell me directly its boring.

Meeting other people is part of learning.  There’s no faster way to improve than to connect yourself to people who have the same passion like blogging.  Along the way, there are lessons learned.

Not only will they drive you to those learnings for yourself.  Their sharing are important advices which we can use to create even more success as we start to build stronger connections with people around us.

So better hang out with self-driven people and strong achievers.  Definitely, I have this community!

My first day of the month always start with a bang. I was anticipating my attendace for the first event blog seminar that I will be participating as  I shared my post here.   But then, something came up in terms of work-related activity that made me decide to face my obligation first and to defer my scheduled activity for that day.  Hardened that it could be but have no choice but to do it.

But that issue did not stop me not to attend the said seminar.  Have found a share link that I  can still participate via webcast thru justin.tv shared by Ms. Janette Toral.

What are the benefits of this online seminar that made me listen and watch while doing my work stuff here in Calamba, Laguna?

• Since this is a some sort of live television, it is delivered in a timely manner accesible to those who will also watch it in real-time.
• Even there was a blurred viewing, there is an interactivity with the presenter  in terms of audio communication on the way he/she shared the presentation.
• Got to communicate simultaneously by throwing a question via chat relating to the  topic.

Overall the webcast experience is worth listening to those of us aiming to be as much as possible virtually present in the event.  Some of the notable lessons I have learned in this webcast are:

• Online contests participated by Jason Biadog on how he become successful to be a winner in many contests he join.  Love his persistent attitude!
• Blogging with integrity by Ms. Earth on how to be mindful and have a soulful attitude to every products or events bloggers are engaged with.
• Carlo Ople’s blogging tips which structed me of being thinking small in blogging.  Actually I always think that way since I only just  started to blog.  It just make me feel still to aim more as I become responsible to give relevance to what I am doing.

I just missed the talk of Ms. Janette Toral about National Bloggers Association.

One thing for sure in this webcast experience as I share my thoughts here - one did not stop us in any circumstances happened to us along the way.  There are still other alternatives as long we are fired with enthusiam and fueled with motivations to go on and on.

Again kudos to the speakers, sponsors and organizers especially to Ms. Janette Toral for bringing up this kind of activity.   Organizing this  ”free event” is truly a remarkable gesture that can benefit to those who are pondering their learnings to improve more their craft in blogging.
