Result For Week 1 – Immuvit Metafit Challenge

Do not pressure yourself.  Enjoy doing it.  Regardless of  how days went by, everything will always be a journey.

Result For Week 1 - Immuvit Metafit Challenge

After one week of involving myself with Immuvit Metafit Challenge, I am writing this post to summarize what I have done for Week 1. With this sharing, one can engage the best out of this challenge just simply participating.

Again, I got to execute the 4-minute routine exercise suggested by Coach Jim Saret:

  • Set A -  jumping jack, squat, push-ups and  lunges
  • Set B – sealed jack, power/squat jack and push-ups

Hopefully, I got to burn those 600 calories as I am gaining weight and  to combat somatopause.

Recalling my post between Day 1 to 3 when I was in Cebu:

  • I did the 4-minute exercise  routine alternate sets in a day and got 3 rounds.
  • Got to also run (30 minutes) , swim (30 minutes) and walk (5 minutes) around the area buying or eating food in a restaurant.
  • For the food, I was able to cut down my rice in the morning and substitute it with bread.
  • Since I was alone during those consultancy work, I rather rest, eat quick lunch like sandwich.
  • At dinner, I substituted my meat with vegetables and sweet desserts with fruits.
  • I drank water for the whole three-day duration.  Still, I cannot avoid to drink coffee in the morning and evening for work to be awake

Fuente Cebu City

Between Day 4 and 5 workout at Anawangin, I have skipped the 4-minute exercise and did:

  • Swimming at the beach doing free style and floating (1 hour)
  • Trekking the hills (2 hours)
  • Walking along the whole beach shore taking photos (2 hours) – morning and afternoon
  • Drink lot of water but rarely drink cola even it is free
  • Bought fruits like mango and banana
  • Ate more fish than meat during meals

Anawangin Cove

From Day 6-7 back home, what I did was to start  again those routine before I open my computer early in the morning in our batcave – literally, this is what we call our home office, LOL!

  • I ended up 6 rounds in a row compared to other days where I got only 3 to 4 rounds
  • Instead of push-up on the wall, I did the push-up down which I think was more challenging
  • I got lot of sweats and catching more breaths when I started to aim for additional rounds
  • I was gasping for long after I finished all the rounds

Below were some of  the sample exercises that I did – Jumping Jack, Squat and Push-up

Immuvit Multifit Challenge -1-2

Immuvit Multifit Challenge -2-2

Immuvit Multifit Challenge -2

Hubby took those pictures and kids were giggling around.  I let them really see these exercises for them to encourage to join with me every morning.

Since I was out for almost a week at home, me and kids also started to do household chores like sweeping and mopping the floor, up and down together with kitchen and all the bedrooms. We definitely got those sweats around.  I supposed all calories that burn counts even cleaning the house,  LOL!

One of my food intakes was pancit bihon rich with lot of vegetables.  This was already my late merienda con dinner.

Pancit Bihon

Instead of sweet dessert at the mall, I substituted it with fruits at Mango-Ong’s sliced combination of green mango and singkamas with sweet bagoong.  Fresh and crunchy taste with the option to pick different variations of bagoong – from sweet to spicy.  Price is P 30.00.

Mango-One

Talking about accomplishments, did I earned something here?

  • Yes, for almost everyday, my body is aching especially those shoulder and legs.  Is this the effect that my fats are burning?   LOL! One thing for sure,  I become stronger.
  • Sometimes, I got those slight fever and headache in the morning.  When I started to do the exercise as I woke-up, it subsided and was gone at the end.
  • I had  those muddy clays in my hands/feet and small bruises in my leg while trekking the hills.  Best part, I reached to the top.  My morale boost up  reaching those goal.
  • There were days that I got to sleep early.
  • For almost a week now, I substituted my cola, frappes, milk tea  and ice tea with water.   Drinking of water increased more because of work-out.   Wow, I just found out that I can survived for one week without those.

Despite s of the days work,  late sleep, travel at night  and doing those extra physical activity for one whole week, my immune system started to boost up and got those lot of energy.  Maybe because I took those exercise, healthy food and  Immuvit at the side as my vitamins.

Immuvit contains herbal content like ginsengs (Korean and Siberian) that revitalize increase energy that would let sustain all day long.  With Immuvit content also of CoQ10, immune system started to boost up.  To learn more, check Immuvit Facebook Page.
Immuvit Metafit Challenge by Jinkee Umali of www.livelifefullest.com

For week 2, plans would be:

  • Still will continue the 4-minute routine but this time new sets of exercise.
  • Swimming and walking while taking photos at the beach this weekend with loved ones and friends
  • Running at the park in the morning
  • Including veggies and fruits in every meal

There you go!

Actually, even I have share this plan already, I can still meet challenging days ahead that would make one stop.   For that last first week, I got to include exercise even I was assigned in other places.   Yes, I continue to feel those cramps around my body.  No pain, no gain, right?

Along the way, I got also lessons learned aside from  those physical activities.  As much as possible,  I do not want to happen those mistakes again.

Do not also pressure yourself.  Enjoy doing it and definitely the feeling is awesome.  So regardless of  how days went by, everything will always be a journey.

What are you waiting for?  Join me as we rock those body to a fitness routine.

Pushing Momentum to Become Fitter

Pushing Momentum to Become Fitter

We have to produce positive results in our lives to get that lasting effects of success or else it will just come and go.

Pushing Momentum to Become Fitter

After a full-blown work for 3 days, 4-day workout with additional physical activities and sudden change on the way I eat my meal preferences, I felt I was exhausted as I shared this with  my previous post.  Even I got complete sleep in a day, still I was tired because my whole body was aching sooo much.  Certainly, there were also some backlogs with other work because I cannot do it anymore but to snuggle.

I just felt I want a total rest after my flight going back to the city.  I was also worried there were other work-related stuffs that I have not yet completed even I already started it.  It really crossed to my mind to cancel this weekend out-of-town camp con seminar even I already paid the said trip.

But guilt feeling cropped to my mind.

From six of us who will be participating, we were down to four.  If I will back-out, how about those three persons which I encouraged beforehand to be with me.

The opportunity of seeing also Anawangin  for the second time will be re-scheduled even I have already those plans that I can extend my physical work-out here.

Those above circumstances let me push thru with the out-of-town event.

If I can do my work while I was waiting in the airport and waiting for the out-of-town camp, then somehow, I can finished those pending works.   Haay, do you know what happen?  When I started to send those files, my laptop were run-out of battery.  Worst, I did not have a chance of saving some of them.

Now I have to face those consequences of not submitting my work when I decided to join the trip.    Again,  I was down.

When I saw friends  and acquaintances got those smile and excited about the trip,  suddenly, this boost my morale.

What I will be sharing with you was the next two days in getting those momentum to become more fitter.  To make it more enticing, I will also share our trip to Anawangin Cove located at San Antonio, Zambales.

Anawangin Cove Mountain Trekking-25

We got there thru 30-minute boat ride from Barangay Pundaguit.  According to locals that I have talked during the camp, after the eruption of Mount Pinatubo bought  the rise of the Anawangin cove with those trees growing and ash/sand mixture around which become famous outdoor camp site.

Anawangin Cove Zambales-1

Anawangin Cove Zambales-46

I substituted my 4-minute exercise suggested by Coach Jim Saret with the activities I can do at the camp like:

  • Swimming at the beach
  • Trekking at the hill
  • Walking along the whole beach shore

Anawangin Cove Zambales-54

Anawangin Cove Mountain Trekking-27

The organizer provided also free drinks like beer and cola.  I opted to drink water instead.    Some of the food served to us were also fresh like this fish ready for grilling and mix veggies for appetizers.  Other food for meal were pork barbeque and chicken adobo.  I bought with me bananas and mangoes for fruits.

Anawangin Cove-17
Anawangin Cove-19

There were hours we did our bonding within the group by discussing about Search Engine Optimization  (SEO).  Those were casual talks where people just come to exchange ideas and simply to listen.  From there, I love the presence of young professionals engaged in another facets of information technology.   Definitely, I gain new acquaintances that later can be one of the circle of friends.

When the seminar proper was about to start at night,   my bad, I slept early.  Maybe because some of the activities we did in the morning that let me rest early in that evening.

Anawangin Cove Zambales-48

This was the first time that SEO Organization Philippines conducted this kind of out-of-town activity.  The travel back and forth going to the camp went on smoothly, friendly people around and mostly, the camp site venue was really great.  So. kudos to the organizers! Overall, friends and hubby enjoyed the whole gathering.

Anawangin Cove-63

Anawangin Cove New Friends and Acquaintances-12

Definitely, there were more improvements and suggestions along the way like  embedding games and activities that would led to SEO concepts and camaraderie among the group.  Hope they can also provide soft copy of the presentations that they discussed.

For me who like to become fitter, I am now experiencing the process of doing more physical activity that led me to less prioritize other things to do for the simple reason I was soo tired.  I really do not like to happen this again that I was cropping up to the rush of submitting other priorities that I left unattended.

Again, this is just a beginning. From there, I can more or less balance the time now I am seeing the result in getting to with this kind of activity.   Have to really plan my schedule now that workout can be included the way I live with it.    At the end of the day, we have to produce also positive results in our lives to get a lasting success or else it will just come and go.

Challenges Encountered and Combat them to Become Fitter

Challenges Encountered and Combat them to Become Fitter

Always take actions when you already get those opportunity.  Do not wait.  Just do it.

Jinkee Umali of www.livelifefullest.com

After I decided to join the Immuvit Metafit Challenge, I got continuous yet simultaneous issues along the way:

  • Scheduled out-of-town work for three (3) days and I will be doing it alone.  All consultants got full assignment schedule.  I will be expecting a full-blown effort for this assignment.
  • Weekend out-of-town gimmick  with friends which I am planning to back-out because I will be sooo tired after my three-day work.

Honestly, my emotional spirit was very low.  To combat these stress, I felt:

  • I love to eat as in a lot
  • I love to sleep more
  • I love to go to the mall just to kill moments of being alone

Effect?  Definitely, I will gain weight again.

If I will be experiencing these obstacles, again, I have to stick to the plan.  These are:

  • Do  a simple one-stop chart and start plotting  physical activities as shown below.
  • Follow Coach Jim Saret suggestions to plot also the meals to be taken – lean yet healthy food.

Yes, this is definitely a good start!

What I will be sharing with you is what I did for the first three days between April 18 to 20.  To make it more exciting, I will also share stories in  Fuente Street which is considered to be one of the focal landmark destinations here in Cebu.

As  I woke up in the morning, I did the 4-minute exercise waking up 5:30 am.  For added physical activity, I  run along Fuente Circle together with number of joggers.   This made me jog for 30 minutes even I told to myself I will just go for two rounds.  The presence of other people doing some workout is an added boost to stay long.

Fuente Cebu City

Another obstacle was the free buffet breakfast offered by the hotel.  Ahhh temptation! I always eat rice in the morning.  What I did was to substitute it with bread, soup and fruits.  I considered this meal as my breakfast, merienda and if  my stomach permitted it, my lunch also.

Fuente Cebu City

Instead of riding a cab, I took a jeep and walk for three minutes on my way to work.

In the evening, I opted to eat vegetables even I love to eat lechon  at  Zubuchon.   The servings of  Adobong Kangkong topped with small bits of chicharon is huge enough for me.   The taste is flavorful.  Maybe because of the added toasted garlic   Price is P 80.00.

Fuente Cebu City

I also substituted my  cakes and coffee with delicacy like Puto Maya, fresh mango and dark chocolate drink at Tablea Chocolate Cafe . I love the combination of dipping my plain sticky rice with chocolate. They gave me also extra hot water if ever the chocolate mix is so rich.  Price is P 100.00.

Fuente Cebu City

Fuente Cebu City

Instead of going to the mall, I walked around Fuente Street and buy those small treats selling by locals like bracelets/necklaces. Staring those different colorful handmade ethnic designs let me stay for a while and choose what will be the preferences of my loved ones.   Prices are between P 20 to 100.
Fuente Cebu City

The following day, I also used Summit Circle small pool for swimming.   Bit sad because I will be doing this alone.  Later then, I realized it is time for me to breathe more and do some floating.  The 30-minute feeling of pondering in the pool made me also reflect things out and clear all those clutters in my mind.

There you have it!

Sometimes, we were bombarded with responsibilities.  Whenever we felt that, we were stressed already.   We accompany it with other habits like eating, smoking and some other ways just to cope up with it.

Again, we have to start somewhere.  The Metafit Challenge is a wake-up call for me.  I have to do some actions now that the opportunity is already here.  No matter what, again focus on the intentions – that is, to become more fitter and  like me, one has  actively initiate to do it.  Do not wait.  Again, just do it!

How about you, how do you intend to get fitter?  Do you also feel sometimes there were obstacles along the way?

Joining Immuvit Metafit Challenge

Joining Immuvit Metafit Challenge

“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.” ~ Colin Powell

Immuvit Metafit Challence by Jinkee Umali of www.livelifefullest.com

Last time, I have shared to you my thoughts about getting myself to a fitness challenge.  Again, the main objective is more on “involving to work-out everyday that would attain a fitter yet healthy life.”

Part of it are definitely to lose weight, improve stamina and to have a slimmer body.  In my dreams?  LOL!  I don’t know but it is really up to me.

In order to pursue more this objective, what I did was to join the Metafit Challenge of Immuvit headed by Coach Jim Saret.

Coach Jim Saret is a well-known personality  in sports and fitness industry.  He become more popular when he was one of the trainer of Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition – a reality show that centers on overweight participants where the main purpose is to lose highest percentage of weight.

Immuvit Metafit Challenge by Jinkee Umali of www.livelifefullest.com

Immuvit Metafit Challenge by Jinkee Umali of www.livelifefullest.com

Yes, a certified fitness guru but what made me instill those enthusiasm with him is not only to lost those weight as the main objective but how to live “fit and healthy”.

I would like to share with you this simple presentation he discussed to us:

Now this made me understand the concept behind of what I am experiencing right now. Yes, I ate a lot and do not have an exercise that cause me to gain weight but as we aged, our metabolism also slows down which is likely a somatopausal stage.

Immuvit Metafit Challenge by Jinkee Umali of www.livelifefullest.com

If that is the case, how can we combat somatopause and eventually improve ourselves?

1.  Changing habits

Changing habits is the ability to discipline and control to do a particular preferred choice, when you would much rather be doing something else.

Example:  Everytime I ate a full meal, I crave for coffee and desserts.  I can substitute my coffee and dessert with fruit instead.

2.  Take vitamins or supplements like Immuvit

Immuvit Metafit Challenge by Jinkee Umali of www.livelifefullest.com

Immuvit contains two powerful ginsengs (Korean and Siberian) and CoQ10. Combined, these help prevent age-related problems.

The ginsengs revitalize the increase in energy that would let sustain all day long and improve performance of cells/tissues.

CoQ10 is naturally produced by our body and plays in producing energy as well as cell growth and maintenance. As we get older, CoQ10 lessens up.

With Immuvit content of CoQ10, our immune system will started to boost up.

Visit their Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/ImmuvitPH

3. Exercise

Coach Jim Saret introduced routinary exercise everyday where you can do for four (4) minutes called MetaFit that would enable to burn 600 calories.

Exercises were:

Set 1:

10 Junping Jacks
10 Squats
10 Push Ups
10 Lunges

Set 2:

10 Mountaineer/Leg
10 Touch the Floor Jump Squats

Note: Do as many rounds as you can in 4 minutes and sets can be done alternatively everyday.

Below were some of  the sample exercises that I tried – Lunges and Push-Up on the Wall.

Immuvit Metafit Challenge by Jinkee Umali of www.livelifefullest.com

Immuvit Metafit Challenge by Jinkee Umali of www.livelifefullest.com

Beside with those exercises, I would be planning to do other enjoyable workout exercise for this 4-week challenge:

  • Combination of jogging, walking and swimming to spice up the variation to perk up the interest yet enjoyable level
  • Schedule and go back to mountain climbing or trekking capturing those nature and breathe more fresh air
  •  Household chores doing it together with kids during this summer
  • Plan a more healthy meal

There would be barriers along the way  like:

  • Too restless because of swollen and aching muscles after the exercise
  • Bored because I felt there were times I will be doing this alone
  • Super hot weather this summer where I cannot do some workout when I go out
  • Slowly getting rid of sweets and chips while working

I have to do some approaches along the way like:

  • Massage the muscles
  • Encourage family like kids to be with me
  •  Use home video exercise
  • Find substitute foods – vegetables and fruits

Some other tips:

  • Schedule daily routine by using a calendar and plot those plans.
  • Increase more the physical activity.  For example:  If I can do those walking rather than riding a cab, then do so.
  • Do it now.  Avoid delaying it or simply procrastinating.

I know there were other obstacles along the way, but what is important is “do not stop”.  One can go slow and then start again.  Again focus on the real objective.  There is always a plenty of  new tomorrows to start new beginning.  There were also frustrations because of not seeing results.

There are no really secrets for each objective or goal to success. The result will always based upon how one is prepared for it, hard work, and learning from that failure.

Just enjoy and love what you are doing, the rest will follow and reap those rewards.

Here I am encouraging you to be with me in this journey….

Max’s 4Sharing Meals for Mama

Max’s 4Sharing Meals for Mama

Max's 4Sharing Meals-9

My work schedule for this month was way too close for so much responsibility during weekdays which my family and relatives decided to celebrate my Mother’s birthday last Sunday, April 15. I cannot find time also to go to market and the most to cook as there were still errands that I have to attend to.

Good thing that I come across Max’s Restaurant 4Sharing Meals where a campaign that seeks to bring a group of family or friends alike meeting up together and crave for their signature chicken and dish like sinigang.   Price is P 799.00.  You can also visit their Facebook page for more info,

My parents especially Mama introduced us to Max’s Restaurant and passed also to my kids which also love the same dishes.    Surely, once I bring this set of meals, they will love it.

Max’s 4Sharing Meals include a  sumptuous spread of one whole, regular, sarap-to the-bones Fried Chicken.  Before it was about to put in the box for take-out, my kids grabbed those camote fritters.
.

Also include were a bowl of piping hot Sinigang,  One can choose from a variety of Sinigang  – from Sinigang na Baboy, Sinigang na Tyan ng Bangus, Sinigang na Hipon, and Sinigang na Tyan at Ulo ng Salmon.
.

.

Since kids were already hungry, we ordered chicken, lumpiang shanghai and use those four servings of rice and four glasses of iced tea in the 4Meal sharing.   For dessert, we settled for buko pandan.
.

.

Birthdays will never be complete without the cake.   We grabbed those yummy cakes at Max’s Corner Bakery.

I beginning to love those cake as I find it not too sweet in our taste palette.  Price is also affordable.  I think I am not mistaken, this mocah cake is P 350.00.
Max's 4Sharing Meals-8

Now we were up to go bringing those goodies!   We were almost complete when we head up to the metro – to my family, parents, brothers,  nieces and nephews.
Max's 4Sharing Meals-7

Verdict, do they love it?  You will be the judge!  LOL!   Simot-sarap-to-the-bones!
Max's 4Sharing Meals-6
There were times we were all really busy.  Definitely there were ways how to cope up with it once we have common desire to do it.  A simple food to share with loved ones create those memorable moments to one another especially this special occasion of my mother.

I am also dedicating this post to my mother who are always ready to give herself to us even we are old enough to stand on our own.  Again with our fullest appreciation of love and sacrifices on what you did to us all throughtout this year, we love you sooo much!  Happy Birthday Mama!

As women, we are naturally giving and naturally nurturing…We take care of others..I love that part of us and I love doing it…Jennifer Lopez

Getting Involve in a Fitness Challenge

Getting Involve in a Fitness Challenge

“If the main objective is to work out and regain the benefits of enjoying physical activities with our lives, then one has to start somewhere.”

After saving and arranging my pictures in a hard drive per date, this made me nurture travels and food escapades with family and friends as I enjoyed every single reflections of what is having a great relationships with them.

Definitely, there were things I missed.  First and foremost, got those lack of updates with my two blogs.

Second, I gained weight.  Last December 2011, I got 122 lbs.  When I checked it again month end of  March and until now, I am 134 lbs.  My normal weight must play around between 115 to 120 lbs.

I also noticed I become weaker.  When I started to walk up the stairs, I got those so much palpitating.  I even tried to jog once a week but have to stop because I cannot breath that much after five-minute straight.

Bit bothered about these predicaments because this is not me anymore.  I got to do something about it.

For the following days, you will be  reading my posts about taking a challenge in getting back to be fit again.  The goal is not only to lost those pounds but also to become fitter and healthier.

I will be doing a one-month fitness activity – an everyday routine that would cultivate a habit that would put exercise in my daily activities.

I can now imagine how exciting this would be – full of action!

I know I am not a gym or a  fitness trainer.

But if the main objective is to work out and regain the benefits of enjoying physical activities with our lives,  then one has to start somewhere.

I will definitely be in!

Like to hear your insights about this and hopefully, you can join me in this journey.

Les Tadeos’ Distinctive Taste Escapade

Les Tadeos’ Distinctive Taste Escapade

I got the chance to visit a quaint resto named Les Tadeo near Timog area.     Actually, I am fortunate to be invited because in the first place I do not consider myself  a food enthusiast.  I got an allergy with seafoods and chicken.  How can I enjoy the food I am tasting if I am too picky?

Photo courtesy of Bong Aguilar of www.ourfullestlife.com

Here is the secret.  Sometimes people were wondering about my blog which is becoming more of a food escapade.  I know, I just felt you…LOL!

But maybe one of the things that revive and nurture each relationship is to accompany it with a food or simply a coffee perhaps.   Actually, I maximized those gathering especially if there is a healthy, mindful yet fruitful talks. From there, one can learn lessons along the way.

With Les Tadeos where loved ones and friends with you, this give me also an opportunity to see and meet  a young yet a budding couple food entrepreneur to share their exquisite style of cooking.  When I say exquisite, for me it is not common food you see and taste around.

As I told you, I am not a foodie and this is my first time to encounter such food that made my experience here unforgettable.

Their Nachos were topped by spinach to make it a healthy appetizer aside from the common meat sauce, cheese and salsa content.  Big serving, I may say.  Now I know what to put up with kids nachos whenever we shared one during our movie marathon. Price is P 180.00.

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Second that was served was Shrimp and Basil Chiffonade Pizza.  Ahh, this one I cannot pass on even I got allergy with shrimp.   Can’t help it!  My weakness was a veggie pizza, healthy alternative to a common ones.  I think one slice would be enough to taste the crispiness of those crust with those combination of cheese, shrimp and basil.   Price is P 170.00.

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Now the meaty part…

Yes this is sisig but guess what, this is crocodile.  Got to taste a bit of it, my first time. Price is P 290.00.
Les Tadeos Restaurant

Another one, the Crocodile Kebab with garlic sauce.    I am wondering how in the world they tenderly cooked like this considering those crocodile muscles?  LOL!

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Another one is Sizzling Con Lengua.   I ate lengua cooked in mushroom sauce or simply adobo.  To make it in sisig style is basically new for me.  Another twist where tongues are finely chopped and garlicky flavored.  Price is P175.00.

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Another one is Sizzling Bituka ng Baboy cooked in sisig style.  I encountered this food in Dinuguan or simply put it in barbeque stick and grilled. Great to see and taste that it can be done with this style.   Price is P130.00.

Les Tadeos Restaurant

I love the way they cook Dinakdakan – one of our fave Ilocano dish which made me missed my relatives.  The combination of  tomatoes and onions beside balance the taste.  Definitely, will suggest this to my granny when we cook this dish.  Price is  P140.00.

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Another appetizer is the Jalapeno.  It looks like lumpiang shang-hai but those are big green chili inside.  Risk on your own, I may say. I tried half of it just to have a taste.  Great partner with those dips.   Love the crispiness.  Price is P160.00.

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Healthy alternative for pulutan is the Kilawin Duo – tanigue and tuna in one plate.  I enjoyed picking its freshness mixed with lot of chili, garlic, vinegar and spices.   Price is P178.00.

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Actually, I am totally done, as in full enough.  But how can you resist this? We were served  by Baby Back Ribs.  Not too tender but the sweetness of the sauce and the side potatoes made this main meal a hit for me.  Price is P170.00

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Another one is the buffalo wings served in honey garlic sauce.  Big serving for the price of  P 170.00.

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Yes, I am done, really done.  Still, another gastronomy food taste when they serve those balot with a twist – Cripy Balot and  Sizzling Balot -  as in serving it fried and topped with special sauce.  Yes, these variety of cook can be done in a traditional balot.

I just have to look for the chick part,  I might cut either the head or the legs.  Yay!  I usually ate it in whole as in close eyes!  Price are  P 150.00.
Les Tadeos Restaurant

Photo Courtesy of Ruel Umali - www.ruelumali.com

Last served was the Oyster Rockefeller – my old time favorite cook with oyster baked and topped with mozzarella cheese. Love the buttery and the creaminess, big yet succulent servings topped with finely chopped herbs and spices.  Price is P155.00

Les Tadeos Restaurant

Overall, I love the twist with the food, the passion of the owner to make it exquisite. Definitely, its another gastronomic aphrodisiac food escapade at Les Tadeos Restaurant near Timog Area…Quaint yet cozy place but full of art and style on the way they cook and serve the food…

I have also learned something on how I will add up more style on the way I also present the food with the family.

I cannot expect more with their interiors using those monoblock seats and a non-aircon resto since the business is just only starting.   Maybe given one year or more, someday this resto will have those ambience improvements.

Streetfood Tycoon, Proudly Pinoy-Apps

Streetfood Tycoon, Proudly Pinoy-Apps

I am now a certified addicted to tablets especially their apps, I may say.  Sayang, I already got those gadgets more than a year now.  Why not give it a time to maximize and explore its use?  Anyway,  it is also one way to appreciate how technology goes to make maybe our life more easier.

To fully explore my new found love to gadget is to try another apps which was recommended by fellow tech friends – Streetfood Tycoon.

Description:

Streetfood Tycoon is a Filipino-made game developed by Kuyi Mobile for IOS devices  like IPAD, iPhone or  iPod which teaches anyone to earn by managing and monitoring a foodcart business scenario from:

  • Investing
  • Loaning
  • Selling popular street foods (french fries, corn dog, hotdog, fishball)
  • Maintaining yet expanding to a more bigger opportunity to become a successful entrepreneur

Streetfood Tycoon

So enthusiast, I got to download the free Streefood Tycoon via iTunes.

Playing this game is also supporting Filipino ingenuity and found out Pinoy customers like President Noynoy Aquino (Pee Noy) and Manny Pacquiao (Moony Pukhyaw).

I got to record also how very easy for a 10-year old kid like my daughter to be acquainted and play the game who  is a certified addicted to gaming.

What do you think?  Very easy to play around, isn’t it?

Navigation:

  • The main concept of the game  is  to increase the earnings by arranging the complete ingredients of the product by “tapping it” one by one once you saw the order
  • On lower right side is a sponge.  Tapping it will keep the area clean.
  • If  you happen to prepare wrong food ingredient, tap the waste can button on the lower left.

Streetfood Tycoon

Tips to increase your earnings  and other benefits:

  • Serve the order right and on time or else, customer will leave.  There is a timer at the topmost right that monitors the order.
  • Once you have enough earnings, you can use it to upgrade for a new cart, additional products to sold like fishball and kwek-kwek.
  • Be sure to get the tip jar, speakers and lucky teddy for upgrades to have an added income.
  • Pee Noy and Moony Pukhyaw give a lot of tips.  Be sure to prepare the order ASAP.
  • Expect that Lady Gogo likes a variety of corndog and Helen Degenerous orders fries, as in always.

Below are my current status at the moment – My To Do List and Net Worth (Stats):

I found the game hooked up for one day and I was stuck playing it for the whole afternoon weekend.  Killing time, I suppose as I got those challenging tricks to keep me going.

Overall, I  love the whole environment especially that Filipino technoprenuers like Kuyi Mobile who are engaging themselves to  develop this kind of application.  I already recommended it to my friends who got also the same line of gadgets to install and try the game.  Most of them felt the game is sooo easy and best recommended to children for playing.

I cannot compare Streetfood Tycoon with other application games that I have already encountered.   Maybe far beyond but  what matters most is that those ideas are turning into reality to us Filipinos to become someday a forefront runner in technology.

Not a bad start.  After all, the best people to work for would always and only begin to us.
