A pageant would always be a competition. At the end of the day, it is an avenue of exhibiting beauty, talent and brain inside and out.

Watching a beauty pageant would always be an anticipated must-see experience especially if one will be looking at it live.

When hubby Ruel was invited to cover Mr. and Ms. Chinatown 2017 at the night of Sept. 1, 2017, I tagged along whicha was held at Solaire Hotel and Casino.

I’m enthusiastic to have a sit seeing production numbers, swimsuit, beautiful attires and hearing those answers in a live environment.

The main objective of the said pageant aims to strengthen Filipino and Chinese relations. The event is also a fusion of modern and traditional customs that highlight Chinoy heritage.

A pageant would always be a competition.

At the end of the day, it’s  an avenue of exhibiting beauty, talent and brain inside and out.  For me, it was not the usual life time experiences and glad have joined hubby.

Directed by Paolo Valenciano “2017 Mr & Ms Chinatown” will be aired on Sunday, Sept. 10, on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best.
