Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in our hearts. – Winnie the Pooh
Circle Hostel is a dorm-type style of accommodation where one can stay in bunk bed, hammock or area to lounge. There is also a common bathroom for everyone.
Maybe the feeling of missing this kind of accommodation is what I missed – choice of sleeping in a bunk bed or in a hammock where one will just breathe in the fresh air around and simmer those heat of the sun. It is just ok because those big mango trees sheltered the whole surrounding to feel the cozy environmental feeling.
This is maybe the reason me and hubby love the style of backpacking where we started to orient our children to travel simple yet the essence of enjoyment and adventure is still there. Even the May month then was over for summer, we still encourage them to extend their camping experience in suburban areas.
As for me, staying with Circle Hostel is also a gentle reminder that still life perspective and meaning can be profound giving back the feeling of childhood days. Why?
- went up the mango tree top with those tiny-winy wood stairs
- some of us swing and even rest in the hammock
- sitting in a mat, do some reads, texting or just surf in the internet
- lie down in the common area
- paint the whole area
Small treats I may say but the idea, all of us were happy as we flashed those smile in our face. That matters most, I suppose.
The quotations around were like a sweet perfume for me. Those quotes were everywhere. Getting those drops of thoughts were also pouring radiant ideas to oneself.
Yes, privacy is some of the key whenever one travels. For one day, one has to emerge oneself to meet and an opportunity to talk to someone – a chance to be a friend to anyone.
Maybe my one concern was to separate the bathroom of male and female the same as they separate their rooms. Overall, it was A-ok!
Doing simple things in quiet humble way is breathtakingly beautiful. One has to experienced it, no need to explain.
I just have one. Thanking Circle Hostel for the momentous stay.
